The PRESRVD Way- Cēlo

This didn’t start as art.
It started as a clothing brand.
I thought I was supposed to follow the blueprint.
Make a logo. Print some tees. Build a brand. Go viral.
And for a while, I ran with that. I was chasing drops.
Trying to make it. Trying to escape.
Trying to create my way out of the life I was born into.
At first, the brand had a different name.
Penia, from the Greek word for poverty.
Because that’s how I felt.
Broke, not just in my pockets, but in spirit.
Penia was built from fear.
Fear of being stuck.
Fear of not making it.
Fear of being forgotten.
So I made out of pressure.
I created from survival.
But deep down something felt off.
Calling it a clothing brand never sat right with me.
I didn’t understand why at first.
But now I do.
Because I’m not just a designer.
And this was never just about clothes.
It was always bigger than that.
I’m an artist.
The moment I admitted that, everything changed.
I stopped boxing myself in.
Stopped trying to build a brand just to keep up.
Stopped doing what I thought would work.
And I started creating from presence.
From intention.
From silence.
That’s when Cēlo was born.
Cēlo is Latin.
It means to conceal, to hide, to preserve.
It speaks to everything I’ve lived through, everything I hold.
The things I feel but don’t always say.
The parts of me that don’t need to be explained, just expressed.
Cēlo isn’t a brand.
It’s a world I built to hold everything I create.
My art. My thoughts. My past. My presence.
It’s for the ones who move in silence.
Who feel deeply but don’t perform it.
Who walk with presence, not noise.
Cēlo is for the preserved.
For the thinkers.
For the ones who are here but not always seen.
Who create from feeling, not from trends.
Who design from truth, not for attention.
Everything I make now, whether it’s a canvas, a hoodie, a sculpture, a spray-painted board, or a handwritten phrase
It’s not just product.
It’s proof.
Proof that I was here.
That I lived.
That I left something behind.
You don’t need to get it all right now.
This isn’t for the algorithm.
It’s for the ones who feel it.
If you feel it
you PRESRVD too.
